Comments on: Me and a buddy made our way to Toronto yard on the morning of December 4th as we knew a work train was showing to dump CWR on the Mactier sub. Instead, we arrive to “the plow train” calling in the yard over the scanner. As they depart Toronto yard with Jordan Spreader CP 402894 and SD40-2 CP 5920, they tell RTC the plan: “up the Mactier sub, picking up a foreman in Midhurst, plowing maybe Medonte, definitely Buckskin & Bala; leave the plow in Bala and light power to Mactier. And the chase was on! Here they are ducking under the infamous 9th Line bridge near Beeton ON.

Looking good at 53 years old! Nice shot of Work Equipment on the move.
CP 402894 is a Type J 4-200 spreader, serial number 1427, built in 1971. It is equipped with a front cab, low front blade, straight side wings, diesel powered hydraulic control cylinders, and, a raised rear platform.
