My fondest memories of the Northlander were seeing the Cab units; and of course, those 'ugly' old TEE locomotives. They were like a blight on the landscape, but at least I got to see them. Always felt my best photo of Northlander was catching it blasting by the old Powassan station many years back. So there would be my #1 memory of it.

While my family was picinicking in Latchford when I was three years old the Northlander blew by horning for the crossing on the southside of the Montreal River. The sound of the F unit's horn traumatized me so much, that in that moment a seed was planted for my interest in this hobby.
