<title>Comments on: Missing the nightlife. Kitchener was once a nice night time option, especially if my old company had me cover off one of our reps at Toyota. After work I’d usually head up to the old VIA station and see what power was idling away nearby. The H. Kruger factory for generations has been a landmark here and an amazing photo prop no matter the time of day. CP only had a small fleet of GP35’s and I think I only ever caught one in action as they spent their last years out in western Canada. Thankfully Railink picked up a few and two were assigned to the SOR before 2210 was relocated to the GEXR and not long after renumbered 2211 as to no get confused with LLPX 2210 also on the roster. It was nice running into this old soldier this night with the old factory lit up and full of action. Sadly 2211 was cut up a few years ago and CN does not store power typically at the VIA station. Glad I spent the time here I did.</title>
