<title>Comments on: More action at CN Beachville, February 18, 1984 Kodachrome by S.Danko

VIA 6762 west creeps onto wreck site at a stately 10 m.p.h. Note the downed communication / hydro cables.

February 14, 1984: A 25 car CN train derailed four miles west of Woodstock ( Beachville) causing $1 million damage. Half mile track torn up, propane tankers included in consist. Heavy rains blamed for weakening the track bed. Reportedly every spring new remnants of the derailment can be seen along the Beachville Thames River Trail – pushed up by the winter frost.
