<title>Comments on: More sun is right &#8211; this has got to have been the most dismal, grey, non sunny fall and winter I&#8217;ve ever witnessed. A bit of sun here and there, but you can count the sunny days on less than two hands for sure. Began in October, and as I type this nearing the end of January, South Western Ontario&#8217;s grey spell is not expected to break until February 1. Here&#8217;s a nice sunny day in October 2018, with the Woodstock turn reversing into CAMI passing the CAMI job&#8217;s power on the wye. At the time, CAMI was still pumping out the Equinox, OSR still had a dedicated CAMI job and the F units could be found out with nobody else around because they still got out regularly and everyone had their fill. Lucky for me this is one of the few chases I got of OSR 1400.
The CAMI plant switched to electric vehicles in 2023 but halted production due to battery supply issues. They&#8217;re not expected to re-start until Spring 2024. None of the Brightdrops go by rail&#8230; so the CAMI job remains abolished for now. The Gen Auto mixing centre still ships vehicles in and out, about 30 autoracks per week, a far cry from the 80 per day they were doing when the GM plant was full tilt.</title>
