Comments on: My first trip by hi-rail trip into the recently opened St. Clair River Tunnel, travelling the entire length of the tunnel to Signal 617 at CN Port Huron then reversing back to Sarnia. The St. Clair River Tunnel is 6,129 feet (1,868 m) from portal to portal with a bore diameter of 27 feet 6 inches (8.38 m). The tunnel would be later named Paul M. Tellier Tunnel.
