Comments on: New Brunswick East Coast (former CP Rail) RS18u 1840 leads Chemin de fer Baie des Chaleurs train #593 along the shore of the Baie des Chaleurs. This train ran from New Richmond, QC with an 0600 start to Gaspe to retrieve boxcars loaded with copper anodes. I believe this was the only freight traffic west of New Richmond at the time and sadly is now gone and the line is inactive. This photo is on the return trip to New Richmond. This was a wonderful day to chase a pair of MLWs along a beautiful and scenic line, it was part of a great trip to the area that I shared with my Dad.

Composition is often the difference between a picture of a train and work of art. The thumbnail of this catches the eye, and the full image does not disappoint. Wonderful artwork, Glenn.
