Comments on: Nice matched trio of WC SD45u locomotives with loads, coming off the Michipicoten Sub., bound for the SOO, with WC 6517, 6502 and 6518 for power. This is a year or so before the Wawa Sinter Plant closed down, and then the removal of the Michipicoten Sub and everything concerning it by 2000. At this time the AC was owned by WC, and in later years the WC was taken over by CN.

It's unfortunate the ACR disappeared and its attractive image lost to history, however, it's somewhat comforting to know that it was replaced with an equally attractive image... also now lost to history.

Typical Mooney shot... drool inspiring!
