Comments on: Nice view of GMD GP7 #8410 in the afternoon sun. This unit became re-manufactured to GP7u #1510 by the early 1980s; and in 2011 it became the property of the Northern Plains Railroad as their GP9R 1510. I believe this locomotive may still be operational; hard to believe since it was built way back in 1952. A lot of the hump sets at the time featured one mixed in with a chop-nose 8633-35 and an F7B in the middle.
