Comments on: Northbound #9 stops for a crew change at CN Boyne, situated along James Bay Jct Rd (North) off old Hwy 69 about 5 KM south of Parry Sound itself. It is later in the afternoon but the light is still good here, so I elected to go with B/W 400 ISO sheet film in the 4×5 Speed Graphic. Shot at 200f11 on account train is stopped and I would not end up with motion blur. Power is 6569, 6625 and 66xx……..missed the last number. The 6569 upon becoming part of CP’s contribution to VIA, was CP 1425 and originally #4069. According to CTG it is now with the West Coast Railway Association as their 4069.

Was that "The Canadian" or "The Super Continental" ?
Question: When were the two trains combined and named The Canadian but run over the Super Continental route?
