At the downtown station, these locomotives were on a local, or perhaps a transfer. 
Medicine Hat last a lot of potential for rail photographers, particularly on the east side as the tracks work up a coulee to get out of the South Saskatchewan River Valley. Unfortunately, I did not have the time as we were on a family vacation, on our way to the Cypress Hills to see what this was all about (Hint, don&#8217;t bother)</title>
