Comments on: Now a VIA station and VIA subdivision, the old brick structure in 1994 became a Designated Heritage Railway station. The building is located on McDougald St in the north part of town. I never got as good of shot on my only trip there in 2003...I believe there may have been a 'suspicious' looking vehicle parked at CN's shwds just beyond the station. Not wanting to get in trouble, I stayed trackside. :) And I first remember seeing this station on the CTV National newscast, when former PM Pierre Trudeau passed. I believe a very young Justin shook hands with one of the onlookers from the crowd when the train stopped there. Funny how things 'used to be'.... Awesome photo Arnold!
