Be sure to focus on school Alex. And no, it is up to you to follow the rules properly :) Remember you should try to replicate this photo as close to this as you can. The London east signs? The engines at left, and a train coming at right. And the framing - try to be spot on - buildings, focal length, etc. Practice makes perfect - David Vincent went up to Chapleau TWICE to get the photo exactly the same, even asking the crew to spot the engine in just the right spot. It took him a lot of effort - two years to get it just right!

Alex, manners please :) You forgot!

The rules are 1995 or earlier, inclusive, for the time machine, as of today. We ask for a minimum 20 year spread - henceforth if you took a photo in 2016 you could pair it to John's great photo above.

Thanks for your interest in the time machine though, if it wasn't for guys like John submitting great classic photos it would not be possible to perform re-creations!

Do you have any shots like this one in this exact location during 1994 or earlier so it can qualify for the time machine?

Man I miss 327/328. Just about anything engine-wise would be on them.
