Comments on: N&W 2708, 2915 head westward approaching Pettit Rd in Fort Erie, exiting yard limits, on its way to St. Thomas. Note old paint style second unit. And it is April, but this looks more like a winter scene. The CSX line is just visible in background ahead of the lead unit.

Wow! Great catch Mr. M. I guess you didn’t bother to shoot or at least note what trailers were being pulled by this train. You should have thought “Self, in 35 years I will have a friend who will want to know about the trailers so I had better note them.”

Its been too many years, H.T.G. I do remember the trains being around 40-50 cars in length but as far as train number……..I thought it was 90 or something like that.
Perhaps some of the brains on this site can come up with the answers………
