Comments on: N&W 4160 and 4161 pause at the CN office for paperwork at the Fort Erie yard, before proceeding westward. Unfortunately I did not record the caboose behind the power. Note the adjacent car is an “I Love NY” promotion paint scheme that was rather popular along the D&H back then. The two GPs shown were part of a small set on the N&W roster (4160-4163) that were in service on the NW/NS from 1982 to 1992.

Very cool to see the lay of the land back then, wasn't old enough to remember much of Fort Erie. Great shot Mr. Mooney and love that you captured some of the CN power to the right in the background of the GP's.

I'm wondering if that is the same NW Van that was later used on NS 327 and 328?
