I seem to remember walking back through our power for some reason &amp; coming across one of the units with low short hood &amp; long hood control setup. I&#039;d never seen that before.</description>

		<description>Yes, you are correct, the long hood is the front end of these units.  There is a small &quot;F&quot; on the running boards at the long hood end.  If I recall correctly, EMD wanted extra for the high hood option that Norfolk and Western refused to pay.</description>
