Comments on: Obviously a beautiful sunny winter afternoon as CP 5521 and 5555 snake down from Guelph Jct on approach to the Hwy 6 underpass and then Hamilton. As I checked this image I got to wondering if this was an eastbound from Woodstock and the boxes in the gons a few cars back are from Livingstons in Tillsonburg. Both SD-40s left the roster in 2000, ended up as GCFX 3082 and 3111 according to CTG.

Those boxes out of Tillsonburg usually went to St. John New Brunswick for loading on a ship. I don’t ever recall them going to Hamilton, so this requires further “investigation”.

Not the one you are thinking of, but just off to the east of Hwy 6 ( quarter mile?)as it was years ago before the highway was changed and widened. I think there are a lot of bushes and trees around there now.
