Comments on: Obviously a miserable day to be passing thru the Montreal area, but thems the breaks………….this old image of CP 4070 working on commuter service a la Urban Transit Commission-Montreal (CTCUM) is of interest because this photo is from mid-1981 and the CTG notes the CTCUM acquired this engine in 1982……and it then became AMT 1300 at a much later date. (The CTCUM/STCUM gave way to AMT in 1996) The AMT 1300 was then retired in 2002 and went to the Quebec Central Rwy in 2003. Currently stored unserviceable.
