   A pair of NS units lead the transfer back to Buffalo after setting off new GE ET44AC serial #63462 aka CN 3023.


   NS 9887 is a GE C40-9W (in NS nomenclature a  D9-44CW )  is coupled with EMD built GP38-2 NS 5665


   Captured from the doorway of the former CN Fort Erie diesel shop – now the Niagara Railway Museum.


   In the foreground at left is what remains of the CN Fort Erie diesel shop refueling / sanding rack.


   Since this image, the museum has reinstalled two short sections of track now located to the left of the rack.


  At extreme left is the former CN administrative building, at the time of the image rented to commercial establishments.
