Comments on: Of all the many trips I took to the CP yards in Victoria BC this is the only time I ever saw CP 6701 at that location. Taking advantage of the rare spring sunlight I quickly got a shot of it. In the late 1980′s a GP-9, A GP-35, or a VIA dayliner would be what you would expect to see Victoria. I photographed the yards, & the buildings from 1981 till the end of the 1990′s this gave me the opportunity catch a lot of changes. Only in the interior of the buildings could you back in time & get an idea of what life was like in 1913.

6700 & 6701 were the resident yard engines in London, Ontario for years.

We had a critter like this roaming the rails in Edmonton during the late 80′s. I will check through my notes and see what number it was.
