Comments on: OH CRAP!!! That sounded like a good idea at the time. Lots of paperwork to fill out and maybe a little time off to reconsider that move. The remains of CN SW1200RS 1207 rest at Toronto (MacMillan) Yard before being sent to Montreal for repair and return to service.

According to a Randy Masales photo, 1207 struck some tank cars at Oakville in heavy fog (sometime in March maybe). Two rode up right on top of the engine area and demolished the long hood. It got a new long hood off a later SW1200RS (or GMD-1, as most of the long hood between the two was identical) with the later style numberboard/headlight housings.
