<title>Comments on: On a calm dry day in September 1968, Doug captured N&amp;W train DN-90 (Detroit-New York City) approaching the diamond at Canfield Jct. on CN’s Cayuga Subdivision. F7 3662 is accompanied by GP7 3453 and another F7 ( all London-built) as it hauls revenue to the connections at Bison Yard, Buffalo NY. Curiously there are a gaggle of what appears to be empty 2-bay hoppers near the head end and they are ahead of the Ford Talbotville cars. This may or may not provide a clue as to where N&amp;W picked them up. Is it possible they came inbound as loads of anthracite coal for St. Mary’s Cement and were part of the Tillsonburg traffic that N&amp;W handled ?
Although it’s not entirely evident, on the extreme left edge of this photo there once was a wye.
It tailed to the south of the Cayuga Sub. where the connecting track ties into the high cubes on DN90’s train. The trees are grown up where the embankment once sat.</title>
