Comments on: On a cold, snowy New Year’s Eve day, the former searchlight signals guarding the east siding switch of Wolverton siding on the Galt Sub are dwarfed by the brand-new signal bridge guarding what is now “East Begin/End CTC Sign Wolverton (WOL).” Can someone comment on the positioning of the searchlights. Older pictures revealed that the double signals were closer to the road behind me.

To keep the siding in service when the new track was constructed, they moved the old power switch, the turnout and the signals to the west, closer to mile 69. There's a dwarf signal on the south side of the siding to the left of the single head signal, cloaked in the fog.
