<title>Comments on: On a family vacation in the Ottawa Valley, my surprise was when we arrived in Barry&#8217;s Bay to find this gem. At the time of this photo, the tracks had been removed for maybe a year or two&#8230;and the station was in the early stages of restoration (it&#8217;s end use was a Tourist Information Center). This station is the last remaining of it&#8217;s style along this portion of the line (originally built by the Ottawa, Arnprior &amp; Parry Sound Railway). Many more had already been demolished at Killaloe, Wilno, Carp, etc. Today, where the tracks once were laid, is now a small park. Of note &#8211; also from the days of railroading, the water tower still stands at Barry&#8217;s Bay. as it was a junction point for lines branching off to not only Renfrew, but to Pembroke as well as all points in between.</title>
