Comments on: On a frigid December evening, CN L581 rests in Brantford Yard as CN 434 completes their work. The power for 581 on this day was CN 5273, GMTX 2277, CN 9416. In the last week we have had the CN 9416 depart due to a stuck horn and the CN 2304 was added today to lead the train Eastbound. This just proves that in our hobby you have to take the opportunity to photograph something when it presents itself.

For whatever reason it was lighting up very dimly. The long exposure makes it look very much on when it really wasn’t.

Nice night scene there Joseph. The frozen blades of grass really highlight the shot. Tired of ice storms yet? I'm sure that one won't be the last!
