Most of the subway trains normally stored here are out and about providing morning rush-hour service on the Yonge line. A pair of red Gloucester “Red Rocket” G1 subway cars, 5052 & 5053, sit near the shop building awaiting servicing – the original Toronto subway cars dating from the Yonge line’s opening in March 1954.
