GO Transit purchased 9 self propelled cars in 1967 at its start up. Originally numbered D700-D708, then renumbered to 9825-9833 in 1970, and finally to 108-116 in 1975. The first two, D700 and D701 had control stands at both end while the other cars had control stands at one end only. All were sold by 1985; two to ONR and the rest to Montreal. They were used in off peak times and on weekends.
