<title>Comments on: On a warm spring day, the crew is enjoying the breeze piloting their train through a busy area known for pedestrians. What remains of &#8220;E&#8221; yard &#8211; pictured &#8211; was a staging point for ferrying cars across the St. Clair River (until 1995) and a CN/CSX interchange point (which still occurs, just rarely). Now it&#8217;s used to support switching Imperial Oil (behind the photographer) and Cargill Elevators &#8211; at the end of the Point Edward spur. Some tracks have been disconnected and removed over the last couple of years as seen in this photo.
Here&#8217;s a John Eull shot showing the yard during the busier ferry days &#8211; with a station on site: http://www.railpictures.ca/?attachment_id=4948</title>
