Comments on: On an extremely windy overcast miserable hallowe’en day in which Mother Nature suffered from an extensive lack of bladder control; I went out after learning CN #422 was on the way with 11 new units (From Erie,PA) in tow en route to Toronto. I thought I had missed the train, so sat down near Ontario St in Beamsville, the opposing signal was red and I figured I’d just park in the pouring rain until the light went green for the USA-bound Amtrak. Convenient that I tore out the door only to find the scanner batteries had died :o( …….It became Amtrak time and the light was still red!!! So something coming!! And at 0942 the gates went down and along she came……..I scurried out in the monsoon and caught CN 5612, 5470, 2425, 2843, 2840, 2848, 2837, 2846, 2841, 2839, 2845, 2842, 2847 and 2844 with a reported 146 cars. Quite the treat. The traffic jam on the Queezy (QEW) quickly put an end to any idea of driving to Bayview for another shot. This is the first digital image I have submitted to RP.ca!!!! Lawdy.
