Comments on: On February 13th, 2009 M304 derailed 2 locomotives and 29 cars near the east siding switch Robinson. There was extensive track and signal damage. The Work Train with IC1012, CN5672 moves ahead at walking speed repositioning to the west end of the derailment site over freshly ballasted track panels, the surfacing machines will now move in to do their part in making the track passable again. (Lat./Long. Co-ordinates approximate)

Thank you for the comment. You are correct, unless your riding the rails or landing nearby for fly-in fishing, chances are your not setting foot here. The Work Train consist would be crew accommodation cars, flats with track panels and other track material, ballast cars (ballast pre-sprayed to prevent freezing), flats with wrecking machinery (excavators, side booms, dozers), other emergency response equipment and material. Personnel responding to the derailment would arrive via the work train, hyrail and air.

This is very neat and obviously a location almost never photographed (except the above)

I assume the workers were all transported by work train pictured?

It's quite the remote location here, doesn't seem to be any civilization other than fly in/out lakes...
