<title>Comments on: On the day of the official first VIA transcontinental &#8220;Super Continental&#8221; passenger train out of Montreal bound for Vancouver, similarly the first VIA &#8220;Canadian&#8221; left Toronto for Sudbury behind CP 4066 and 4067. It was projected to be an overcast day, resulting in my going with sub-par (at the time) 400 ASA film for the occasion. I am standing just west of Union Station catching the train beginning it&#8217;s journey. The CFTO-TV sign is backwards because it is facing the other side of the station, situated to catch the attention of travelers coming into Toronto from the East. Forty years of VIA!!!</title>
