	<title>Comments on: On the fateful day of 27 June 1972 (the day Erie Lackawanna declared bankruptcy), a U25B/U25B/C424 lash-up is in charge of train TC 100 detouring over CN lines. This was one of 30 eastbound and 14 westbound trains that operated over CN between Fort Erie, Ontario and Rouses Point, New York. Interestingly, these trains by-passed Montreal, operating directly between Coteau and Cantic, Quebec over the Valleyfield sub.</title>

		<description>Through U.S. trains bypassing Montreal was normal, that was the purpose of the Valleyfield Sub (unfortunately no longer a through line). For example traffic from Chicago to Portland, Maine would take that line, as would Central Vermont traffic.</description>
