Comments on: On the second leg of its journey to St. Thomas, Ontario Southland Railway’s units, MofW cars and caboose were placed on the tail-end of CN L568 between Kitchener and Stratford. It’s been a long time since any caboose has travelled on the end of a train on the CN Guelph Subdivision and maybe the first time a former CP caboose has been put on the tail-end of a CN train over the line. Former CP van 434462 is seen on the rear-end of CN L568 as it passes through Baden heading west to Stratford.

Why were the OSR units on the train? Were they sold or being transferred.

Hasn’t been terribly long, GEXR leased one of the WCR Angus vans in 2015 for use on capital projects along the Guelph Sub.

Either way that’s a good grab shot
