Comments on: On the way back from shooting the Windmill train in the Gaspe, we stopped in Routhierville, Qc to hopefully shoot CN 562, which was coming from Mont-Joli light power to Matapedia to pick up the windmill train. After a 5 minute wait, we gave up as it was quite cold and we figured it had already passed. It turns out the train had struck a skidooer a bit further north, in the town of Causapscal. At least I was able to shoot this out of use train station; if the info I found online is correct, it was built in 1878 for the Intercolonial Railway. The track out back is CN’s Mont Joli Sub, used only by VIA 14/15 (overnight) and local traffic between Mont-Joli, Qc and Campbellton, NB.
