As I headed back for my parents home I had a feeling I should continue on to Brantford.Upon reaching Brantford I found CN 580 putting away their power in the yard due to all 3 yard units running out of fuel! Prior to the take back, CN would use a single unit. 1439 performed all yard switching duties that morning but never got out onto the mainline. The crew reportedly didn’t like the ride or pulling power of 1439 for their work. So it is understandable that it was short lived.
