<title>Comments on: Once upon a time, CP established a terminal at mile 47.9 at Ruby Creek to serve crews and equipment from the Coquihalla sub. junction a few miles to the east, and it became the east end of double track when that was installed. With the passage of time, the Coquihalla connection was shut down, and later the end of double track was relocated west to mileage 51.7 at new Ruby Creek. This shot of No. 2 The Canadian on Sunday 1978-07-30 at 1815 PDT passing milepost 48 was taken from the site of the former wye west switch at old Ruby Creek.</title>
