During 2022 GEXR operations were in need of some additional power to fill in for ailing units and freshly painted/overhauled Huron Eastern GP38 3510 was quickly rerouted to the GEXR. The four exhaust stacks give away its Mo-Pac heritage. In the autumn I’ve always liked photographing the colourful trees on the hill just north of Arkel, with the train in the distance.
