Comments on: One of those nice bright overcast type days that I enjoy; and even better when a decent looking train comes along. I’m on the “railfans” walkbridge on this occasion; and off the hill comes CN 2418, 5030, 2416, GT 5936, CN 9510 and 9400 leading this Sarnia to Toronto-bound train. Don’t remember if it was hot and muggy, but it sure looks it. Image shot using 120 medium format roll film in a Mamiya Pro 645.

Yes. You're quite right, and CN 410 was often a power heavy one, too. Nice that it perks up memories. It sure does for me as well when I find these negs in my files.

This brings back wonderful memories of a bygone era at Bayview. An overcast and muggy summer day and trains hauled by multi-unit lash-ups. As I recall, 410 was typically a morning train at Bayview.

It was somewhat rare or so it seemed as the GE's eventually all went west for the most part and the Big 6's stayed in the east. However I'm sure someone has shots of them together. The Big 6's would occasionally venture to Manitoba as well so it's possible.

Curious, was it rare to get photos of the GE cowls and Big 6's together? Seems there was very little overlap time..
