Comments on: One shot I’ve been trying to get is a Dash-9 (AC rebuild) and SD75 rebuild together. Thanks to 731 yesterday I was able to get the shot. It still amazes me how overgrown so many of these locations have become over the years. It’s always nice to get the old searchlight intermediate signals in any shot especially as they may eventually get replaced. This spot is about mid way between Brantford and Lynden.

Well done. For 25 plus years I lived near the area. When my wife and I were first married, she worked mostly weekends so I frequented this location quite a bit. Was never bothered by anyone. Peaceful, tranquil countryside....

....until train time! Nice catch too. Two for the price of one. Hopefully the railway starts realizing again how important it is in keeping up maintenance....but I'm not holding my breath!
