Comments on: One year ago today, I was out chasing one of the first CN 502s (then CN A402) down the Hagersville Sub, which was also the first time for me shooting a train down the line. It was also convenient being that I was living in the Hamilton area at the time. I got word that the train entered Canada with 4 units, one of them the 2115 and the other one of the CN military units. Based on their positioning, I knew at least one of the two interesting units would be on 502; the other two dropped off in London if I recall correctly. The afternoon was cold and windy with mostly sunny conditions, except after the train was west of Caledonia! The sky became 50/50 with sun and clouds. Luckily though, this train was slow enough that the clouds were not too much of a deterrent. This shot was taken as the train crawled towards its destination of Garnet. Fellow RP.ca contributor Rob Smith and a few others were in on the chase as well.

With the amount of cloud cover, great shot of the 2115. I have a dislike of clouds that arrive just as the units get there. :-)
