Comments on: Only the Engineer’s side Class light functions, and it’s turned on. CP T72 is about to duck under Highway 24 in Galt destination Wolverton with the elusive SOO 4410 in the lead. This unit came from St. Paul and is one of a very small handful still active in SOO paint, which can be counted on a single hand. This thing didn’t lead all that often… and since it’s still in the area (Toronto at last check) it may lead something again in the area. Cross fingers.

Action red would be nice, but most of that is gone now.

I imagine CN or CP will provide service once BWXT has a shipment rail ready, better hurry though, CN might just rip part of the line out instead :)

CP hasn’t serviced B&W in 20+ yrs, and CN hasn’t since 1998...and haven’t since the end of lease.

Couldn’t careless about the colour of the units, but it’s a great location shot!

How long was 4429 assigned to T78 back in 2017? I never went for it :) hehe

I wonder if they've had a road train lift or set-off in Galt lately. I doubt it but trains continued to go up here not that long ago to set off or lift the Fergus spur.

Great photo, nice catch! I’m thankful I got 4429 leading before it was repainted. It’s amazing how the old Finigan location has changed. I miss catching road trains switching this far north of the Galt sub.
