Comments on: ONR 1733 and 1734 head southward on a beautiful June afternoon. That old shack in the field probably is all there is left of South Mindoka. The sawmill town died in the 1940s and was abandoned by 1960. Another ghost town of the North. Only a mile up the line from here was the community of Mindoka itself, still a namesign on the ONR.
