Comments on: Ontario Southland Railway RS23′s 504-505 display what MLW’s are all about as they shove their southbound train north, out of the interchange on an overcast April day. Power from GEXR 580 sits parked at the north end of the interchange after the mornings events. April 27th in 2007 was a day of drama for the operating railroads in Guelph. Earlier that day Goderich and Exeter freight 580 had derailed a mile or so south of the interchange after crossing Edinburgh Road for their final time. OSR ended up running down to the site to try and rerail one of the derailed cars unsuccessfully.
