<title>Comments on: Out of the woods the Tin Woodsman cometh!

Sorry &#8211; but what with the painted face and upended pail on the roof vent of the little repurposed signal shack on the crane&#8217;s flat car, I couldn&#8217;t help but think of the character from the Wizard of Oz!

Hearing something like a coffee truck or dump truck air horn sounding a Rule 14(L) at the South Lancelot Road crossing, I whipped on down to Mile 138 to see this Ohio rail crane preceded by a Hi-Rail truck. Having only my 100-400mm lens with me (I&#8217;d been loading the car up with empties for the beer store and didn&#8217;t expect to see a train, rather I was kinda hoping to get a shot of the cougar of the quadruped, NOT biped variety, that&#8217;s been hanging around my property there lately) I couldn&#8217;t get far enough back to get a shot of it out in the open. I fired off one shot of it partially obstructed there then headed down to the big curve at Utterson (Mile 146) to get this shot as I knew that section of track would be clear of foreground clutter.</title>
