<title>Comments on: Part 1: After missing the last run down into St Catharines from Thorold, I thought I had missed my change to catch the last operations of GIO on the Grantham Spur. Thankfully I was poorly mistaken. After suffering from engine issues and dumping oil, 1859 was tied down until the following day. After a constant battle with attempting to start it with the help of a few cans of what looked like Diethyl Ether, 1859 reluctantly came to life. However, doing what ALCO/MLW&#8217;s do best, left the surrounding area in a cloud of oil burned blue smoke.</title>
