		<description>This caboose may well be there at Galt  for work service with the crane. I can&#039;t recall what type of crane that is by the number, but back in 1982, cranes were operated as trains with a Conductor arranging track time, hence the need for a caboose. Now, this type of work is handled by track maintenance forces using &quot;TOPs&quot; (track occupancy permit). I worked several cranes the Wellman crane, a Burro crane, &amp; a PYKE crane which looked just like a Burro.</description>
