Comments on: Pleasant late morning in early summer when I wandered down to the Falls to see what was going on. Not much. Did enjoy shooting this eastbound #558 as it crossed Eastwood St at Mile 1. That is Palmer Av which paralleled the line back then. Behind SOO 739 and HLCX 4066 is the former Maple Leaf Village tower down by the Clifton Hill tourist trap(the park closed 3 years previously) and rather faintly to the right of it is the Skylon. It is a pity the tracks have been gone for around 17 years now, it was a great place for trains. Only other train I logged that morning was CSX with one unit which was a half hour behind this. Quiet day.
