<title>Comments on: Port Colborne&#8217;s Canal Days is an annual event held over the civic holiday weekend (Aug. 4 &#8211; 7, 2000 &#8211; exact day approximate) celebrating the Welland Canal and the prosperity it has brought to the town and Niagara Region. During the early years of Trillium&#8217;s Port Colborne Harbour Railway, short excursions were held using ALCO S1 308, ALCO C-425 6101, and coaches from the Medina Railroad Museum in New York. Nearing the end of the day, 308 swings around the curve approaching Elm Street.More Canal Day trips:Soutbound at Elm Street, Arnold Mooney, 1999Coming back into town, Arnold Mooney, 1999</title>
