Post tour, the equipment was later sold to the Union Pacific. At left, CNR 7913, and EMD NW2 built in 1941, can be seen moving about During the tour, lasting from May 1947 – October 1949, the train is noted as being in Canada on three occasions. On display at the CNE in Toronto from September 2-6, 1947, with a stop in St. Catharine’s on September 7, passing through on the CASO, from Windsor – Fort Erie on January 17, 1948, and a longer tour through Ontario and Quebec from September 22 – October 28, 1949.
