I always had a love for the M420, unfortunately becoming a serious railfan in the mid 90’s meant I almost completely missed out on the MLW era. Thankfully I kept myself busy those first few years hunting down what I could find. It was also nice having a bunch of new shortlines in Ontario stocking their rosters with hand me down MLW’s and old EMD’s.
